SWAMPED.

So the blog has been knocked off the priority list as I am bogged down in Summer I. Multicultural Counseling is a very interesting course and is turning out to be A LOT of work. Ugh. I start my Conflict Coaching course next week. It meets 9-5 Monday - Friday. I'm looking forward to it, though I experienced a great deal of inner CONFLICT when I read the syllabus. Yikes.

I'll keep you posted. Or at least try....

Good Times on the Block

We had a block brunch last weekend and it was a blast. We spent the day eating, singing karaoke, and even doing some intrepetive dancing. Apparently, I found my cheerleader and ballerina wanna-be roots. My neighbor and good friend, Jen, did as well. Scott discovered that he is indeed a rock star. Thankfully, we have great neighbors who don't mind our crazy antics. Here are the highlights.

Visit from the parents

My folks were here last weekend and we had a great time. We had a picnic in Washington Square, went to see King Tut, and walked all over Philly and ate some great meals. We even saw a pug so fat that he had to be wheeled out of the dog park in a grocery cart. Here are some highlights...

New House!

This is our new house! It is on a great street and we are excited to have a lot more space. We will most likely be in this house for a long while.

First Installment

Greetings! I've decided to start a blog as a way to keep up with friends and family. I've been inspired by Mandy, Maria, and Mollie/Brian (maybe this is an "M" thing) and enjoy feeling more connected to their daily lives, even though we are miles apart.
I'm also currently on a break from school which allows me the time to get this thing set-up.
Here are the pics of our current house (which is for sale) as we will be moving into a bigger one. We love this house and wish we could stay on our street forever, but we found a new house we love and decided to make the move. We will only be a few blocks away!
I hope you enjoy the blog.
